YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK

Measure X was approved by District voters on November 8, 2022, authorizing the District to issue general obligation bonds in the amount of up to $39,200,000 to fund facility construction and maintenance within the Coalinga-Huron Unified School District.  The purpose of the bond measure is “to construct, reconstruct, rehabilitate, or replace school facilities.”  The specific projects include construction and modernization on campuses within the district dating back to 1934.  These projects include but are not limited to new classroom construction, replacement of deteriorating plumbing and roofing, replacement of outdated heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and overall modernization of classrooms to meet 21st century educational standards.
